RCP Plastering Contractors Barnstaple

Great job, great service Having considered various options for repairs to our seaside holiday cottage in Devon, and following discussions with Rob as to the best solution, we decided to opt for spray cork. Apart from meeting Rob once before the work started, the whole project was completed whilst we were at home 180 miles away. Rob provided an excellent service and a first-class job and we always had the peace of mind knowing he would do what he said he was going to when he said he would, and that he would properly and professionally deal with any unforeseen issues. The finished job is great and we highly recommend him.

Excellent job! Whole house re-render with spray cork Rob and his friendly team did an excellent job re-rendering our house.
We decided to go with the option of the Reve spray coloured cork.
They worked consistently and swiftly despite some challenging weather on occasion. His communication was great from quote to completion, we always knew when he was coming and what was coming next! He also organised worked other trades for our job (electricians, scaffolders) we were satisfied with their timely completion.Everything was left neat and tidy. I would recommend him to others!

Good advice and good job. My old render had blown away from front of my house and it was unknown as to what was underneath. Rob was extremely helpful with advice on how to proceed and happy to follow some of my suggestions aswell. Suggested a couple of options to go on the outside. The lads, including his son, who came to do the job were very polite and tidy. The outside now looks great! Would really recommend.

RCP saved the day I was much relieved and grateful when Rob agreed to take on a tricky project where, due to delays and winter weather pressure, a Baumit base coat had been rather inexpertly and unevenly applied to the EWI. Rob was very straight, fair and flexible when discussing how to best tackle the job and stuck to what we had agreed. Although on holiday, he was always at the end of the line for any queries. The team arrived punctually and first expertly levelled out the basecoat and then applied the primer and Baumit Puratop coloured thincoat render. What could have been a disaster ended up as a very smart professional job. I would not hesitate recommending Rob and his team.

Complete external re-skim. We employed Rob and his team to skim over our render, which was sound but had been poorly applied by the original builder. The preparation and care to protect new paving, driveway and new planting was excellent. The finished result is a better, smoother looking, weather resistant result. Thank you.

Spraycork Rob and his team did a fantastic job putting a Spraycork finish on the back of my house. They turned up when they said they would, worked neatly, and were genuinely polite and easy to deal with. The result looks brilliant and I’m really pleased. I’d happily recommend them to anyone looking for rendering or plastering work.

Fantastic job! Rob and his team have just cork rendered our house - his recommended material looks great. The job was undertaken with extreme care and attention to detail and the place now looks fantastic. The team were respectful of neighbors and the property along with the surrounding area was cleaned and left tidy after the job came to an end. Highly recommended!

Full service We had Rob and boys for our liquid screed, thin coat render and skimming. Not an easy build with some complicated shapes but everything done to a great standard and efficiency! Would definitely employ them again - if we are brave enough build another house!

Great job We had an External Wall insulation job done by Rob and his team, they did an excellent job. Our house really suffered through the winter months but as soon as they installed the insulation we noticed the difference instantly. We were kept informed right from the start, They tidied up each day before they left. We are so pleased with the work done. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Ground floor liquid screed Excellent job done. The team arrived ahead of time and laid the screed quickly and with no mess.
We normally use traditional screed but with our underfloor heating system decided to use the cemfloor liquid screed which was so flat & level
Thanks, Richard.

External Re-render. Rob and the boys did an excellent job in re-rendering our bungalow.
RCP used the baumit crack resistant silicone render over existing paint.
They were recommended to us by baumit
They took great care in covering the area with ground matting to prevent damage to paths etc.. The price was very competitive. I would recommend them and use them again with no hesitation.

Wall rendering Rob and his team of young bloods did an excellent job of replacing the render on the west facing wall of the house in less than ideal conditions - cold, wet and windy! The result looks great and should help to keep the property warmer to boot. They fitted an external wall insulation system over the gable end. Just make sure you have plenty of teabags in!!

Excellent job! Would highly recommend Rob Cleary and team who recently laid liquid floor screed to our extension in Kentisbury. Well pleased with the workmanship, a first class job and no mess to clear up.
Thank you RCP 👌

Floor screed for barn conversion Excellent service from Rob and his team. They were efficient, thorough and professional. The level of the floor screed was critical and Rob took care to ensure this.
The quality of the liquid screed used was far better than the traditional screeds used in the past
We would highly recommend to anyone considering the need for their services. 5 Stars from us. Thank you!

Excellent work I cannot recommend Rob and his team enough, they have done an excellent job on rendering our house to a professional standard.

The team was professional and courteous at all times leaving the work area clean and tidy at the end of each day and when the job was complete.

Superb job… Thank you RCP, we are so happy with our lovely new floor. I can wholeheartedly recommend these guys, very professional and lovely to deal with from start to finish; helpful, knowledgeable and professional.
The liquid screed used left us with a perfect floor
thanks

Great job on screed RCP used the cemfloor flowing screed on our barn conversion
Rob and his team we`re there when they said they would be , put in extra hours to make sure the job was 100%, which it was. Highly recommended.
The finished screed was perfectly flat ready for tiling.
highly recommended.

Rob and his team did a great job replacing the render on our house. Their skill and knowledge mean that the new render is perfectly in keeping with the feel and look of the building, something that was really important to us. They worked quickly and efficiently and the result is spectacular. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

Liquid screed John Green
Our garage floor after Rob and son Spencer screed with Weber.floor 4610 Industry Top. Brilliant service, efficient, polite, clean, fast. Kept me informed every step of the way. A true professional. I highly recommend Rob Cleary.

Thank you Rob and team for a great job rendering the inside and outside of the new swimming pool building with Parex at Honeymead. Professionally carried out and on time.

Great rendering job Rob and his team rendered some of garden walls. The whole process was fast, efficient and very professional. It was great to deal with people who knew their trade and did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. Thank you.

High quality work Rob and his team have re-rendered two walls of our 500 year old farm house in white lime, the finished product looks amazing, with soft organic lines around the windows in keeping with the age and style of our property, strongly recommend.

Cleanliness and efficiency - A* experience. RCP fitted a 90mm ewi system to our large house in braunton.
We can't thank Rob and the team enough, from start to finish they were all very professional and polite. They did a fantastic job and it really finished off the building to a high quality standard. Not only did the end product look great, they were incredibly clean and efficient through out the whole project. They worked from the time they arrived until the time they left, barely stopping for lunch. Can not recommend highly enough, would not think twice about using their services again. Thank you.

Excellent Job Rob and his team carried out a large external re-render job on two walls of our 100+ year old property in Braunton - despite weather issues and difficulties with removing the old plaster, the finish obtained is excellent - I would have no hesitation in recommending Rob and his team to others, or for using him again for any future works I may require.

Rob and his team were contracted to skim all the newly constructed internal stud walls of a large commercial photography studio. It was crucial that the finish was perfect as the studio lighting would show any discrepancies in the finish. The Job was completed on time and on budget to the highest standard. Would highly recommend RCP

Highly reliable applicator We've worked alongside Rob now for a number of years , he applies our systems to the highest quality and is most certainly one of the finest plasterers we have on our approved applicator network. Rob does a fantastic job of all the rendering projects he's involved with , we have complete confidence in his abilities and we consistently try to use him wherever we can to undertake the rendering works on projects. Rob rendered some of the exterior of our new build (the rest was stone clad). He was able to accommodate our works slippage, turned up when he said he would, and finished when he said he would. The product he used is excellent and we are delighted with the overall finish. I would highly recommend Rob and his team.

Rob Cleary Plastering undertook the External Wall Insulation and white Baumit texture coating to the outside of our 70’s house refurbishment/ extension and full height curving garden wall on an exposed coastal site in Northam. There were a variety of non-standard rendering faces from a large, cantilevered soffit, projecting window bay, parapet copings and curved faces and we are very satisfied with the work and kept within stated budget throughout. Rob advised on types of render/ finishes and things to watch out for as our main contractor prepared the substrates. External rendering is very weather dependent, and Rob and his team managed to complete the project over the inclement winter of 2017-2018 which was an impressive feat.

Rob and his team have just done a fantastic re-rendering job on my house in the Woolacombe / Mortehoe area. The house faces the sea, so on occasions can be subject to pretty testing weather conditions! Hence, we asked Rob to do the rendering due to his reputation of carrying out a quality job, one that lasts for years to come. He’s also incredibly friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend him to your property.

After recommendation we asked Rob to come and quote to render our hexagonal timber frame new build. His professionalism was clear and after suggesting a particular silicon render system and agreeing with his quote we instructed him to go ahead. Rob and his team did not let us down, they were accommodating, polite, tidy and delivered exactly what we hoped for, would certainly recommend.

Rob and his team were chosen to update our 70’s property by through colour re-rendering, covering existing brickwork and also changing the soffits through a fellow contractor. The quotes were swiftly repaired by both and communication was good even though I was sometimes 8000 miles away from the project!

After some delays, due to a large project proceeding ours, the team transformed our house and kept in budget throughout. Our house now looks superb and the attention to detail is top notch. We’re so pleased we went for a re-render instead of a repair and paint as the finish is so much better and will last so much longer.

We have used rob and his team on two large jobs this year each timber frame that entailed Aqua panel render board and a modern render system that rob recommend for timber frame building the quality of the work is excellent every time. The team is always on site early, polite, and tidy,

Huge thanks to Rob and his team! They have worked amazingly hard re-rendering on our unusual shaped cottage in a lime render.
From an initial face to face consultation where to details discussed and options were explained, he hired the skip and sorted the road permit along with the scaffolding.
The quality of work is outstanding.
They left our home tidy, clean and respected our possessions and garden.
Everyone has commented on our lovely new home.

Thanks to Rob and his team for the efficient and professional job carried out on the rendering of our house. Rob has been very good in project managing the various tradesmen and kept us informed every step of the way. We can’t praise everyone involved enough.

Rob has completed what has been an ‘interesting’ job, it looks fantastic. Our surveyor recommended a lime render finish due to the age of the property and the type of build. RICS and English Heritage also make these recommendations. Rob has made an excellent job which included some unusual discoveries and features. Rob unlike some builders keeps you informed of progress.
Thanks

I would like to thank Rob and his team for the fantastic job they did for us at Green Lane Shopping centre. Our client was so pleased with the finished product that we’ve secured another significant project with them and would like Rob to travel halfway up the country to carry out the spray render package for us again.
Thanks very much.

Rob and his team have now worked on my house on three separate occasions, plastering internal walls and ceilings. I recently requested a plastering solution for the external walls and Rob recommended the “External Wall Insulation System” This has now been installed and plastered with a colour mixed into the plaster, so no extra painting required from me!! My wife and I are extremely happy with this product. The internal rooms are now a lot quieter and warmer! Externally the house looks almost new. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the workmanship which Rob and his team have produced. I would highly recommend this company.

Being building contractors we often require the service of a plastering company. Rob and his team are always our first choice. The quality of work has always been to the highest standards that we expect and at very competitive rates. I would recommend R L Cleary to anybody.

After consultation with other renderers who were able to use the resin render finish we wanted, we chose Rob, due to his quote but more importantly his knowledge and experience with resin finish. He and his team did a neat and tidy job with no fuss. They spent time at the end ensuring everything was cleared up. The end result was very pleasing, and we have received many positive comments about the front of the hotel. Thanks Rob. We look forward to you coming back later in the year to finish the rest of the building.

Rob and his team came to replaster the kitchen of our 1890’s home in Braunton. Our builders had to redo the walls and also a new ceiling. Our other trades were so impressed by the quality of the workmanship and also the smooth and efficient manner in which Rob goes about organising his team. We are going to have more work done in 2014 at our home and will be recommending him to all our friends. Thanks again Rob for your assistance. It’s rare these days to have such a high standard of workmanship.

I bought a 1950s bungalow and Rob and his team have done a fantastic job plastering the walls and ceilings … my home no longer looks as though its stuck in the fifties, smooth ceilings and walls have given the house a contemporary look that’s right up to date… what a transformation! Rob and his team are really efficient, and I can honestly say they went the extra mile! I will definitely use them again for any other plastering work that I need… Many thanks to Rob and the lads!

I employed Rob to re-render two of the external walls of my house, and he carried out the work efficiently and in the most trying of weather circumstances. The workmanship is first class, and he ensured that the work was completed exactly as he stated on his quotation, using a specialist rendering imported from abroad. He also found time to skim a number of internal ceilings. I am pleased I employed him and will happily do so again should the need arise.

I contacted Rob to supply and fit a 100 mm external wall insulation render system to our large Art Deco detached property. He wasn’t the cheapest quote out of the 3 we received but right from the word go we knew he was out man. He turned up on time, listened to our requirements and within 24 hours we had a full written quotation. After a further visit to clarify a few points we instructed Rob and his team to go ahead and we are more than pleased with the results.
Thanks Rob and sorry for the delay in posting this review for you.

Rob Cleary and his team have done a fantastic job on every occasion that I’ve used them, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and use their services again.

Would not go anywhere else for our plastering needs. Rob did a fabulous job at our previous and current home. Always pleased with the work, efficient, professional, and personal service.

Thanks for the great plastering job you did in our house. You provided a fantastic service, prompt, reliable and very high spec. We’ll definitely be in touch soon with some more jobs for you.

Rob and his team are hardworking and diligent. A very professional service with a fantastic finish. We are pleased with the pro-rend results on both the concrete block and timber frame extensions. It is nice to do business with a trader who is reliable and does what he says he will do. Communications were also excellent, with Rob answering queries quickly (I guess he must get up early, as the quotation email arrived at 6:14 am the next day!)
