Excellent Job Rob and his team carried out a large external re-render job on two walls of our 100+ year old property in Braunton - despite weather issues and difficulties with removing the old plaster, the finish obtained is excellent - I would have no hesitation in recommending Rob and his team to others, or for using him again for any future works I may require.

Rob and his team were contracted to skim all the newly constructed internal stud walls of a large commercial photography studio. It was crucial that the finish was perfect as the studio lighting would show any discrepancies in the finish. The Job was completed on time and on budget to the highest standard. Rob rendered some of the exterior of our new build (the rest was stone clad). He was able to accommodate our works slippage, turned up when he said he would, and finished when he said he would. Rob Cleary Plastering undertook the External Wall Insulation and white Baumit texture coating to the outside of our 70’s house refurbishment/ extension and full height curving garden wall on an exposed coastal site in Northam. There were a variety of non-standard rendering faces from a large, cantilevered soffit, projecting window bay, parapet copings and curved faces and we are very satisfied with the work and kept within stated budget throughout. Rob advised on types of render/ finishes and things to watch out for as our main contractor prepared the substrates. External rendering is very weather dependent, and Rob and his team managed to complete the project over the inclement winter of 2017-2018 which was an impressive feat.

Rob and his team have just done a fantastic re-rendering job on my house in the Woolacombe / Mortehoe area. The house faces the sea, so on occasions can be subject to pretty testing weather conditions! Hence, we asked Rob to do the rendering due to his reputation of carrying out a quality job, one that lasts for years to come. He’s also incredibly friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend him to your property.

After recommendation we asked Rob to come and quote to render our hexagonal timber frame new build. His professionalism was clear and after suggesting a particular silicon render system and agreeing with his quote we instructed him to go ahead. Rob and his team did not let us down, they were accommodating, polite, tidy and delivered exactly what we hoped for, would certainly recommend.

Rob and his team were chosen to update our 70’s property by through colour re-rendering, covering existing brickwork and also changing the soffits through a fellow contractor. The quotes were swiftly repaired by both and communication was good even though I was sometimes 8000 miles away from the project!

After some delays, due to a large project proceeding ours, the team transformed our house and kept in budget throughout. Our house now looks superb and the attention to detail is top notch. We’re so pleased we went for a re-render instead of a repair and paint as the finish is so much better and will last so much longer.

We have used rob and his team on two large jobs this year each timber frame that entailed Aqua panel render board and a modern render system that rob recommend for timber frame building the quality of the work is excellent every time. The team is always on site early, polite, and tidy,

Rob has completed what has been an ‘interesting’ job, it looks fantastic. Our surveyor recommended a lime render finish due to the age of the property and the type of build. RICS and English Heritage also make these recommendations. Rob has made an excellent job which included some unusual discoveries and features. Rob unlike some builders keeps you informed of progress.

Rob and his team have now worked on my house on three separate occasions, plastering internal walls and ceilings. I recently requested a plastering solution for the external walls and Rob recommended the “External Wall Insulation System” This has now been installed and plastered with a colour mixed into the plaster, so no extra painting required from me!! My wife and I are extremely happy with this product. The internal rooms are now a lot quieter and warmer! Externally the house looks almost new. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the workmanship which Rob and his team have produced. I would highly recommend this company.

Rob and his team came to replaster the kitchen of our 1890’s home in Braunton. Our builders had to redo the walls and also a new ceiling. I bought a 1950s bungalow and Rob and his team have done a fantastic job plastering the walls and ceilings … my home no longer looks as though its stuck in the fifties, smooth ceilings and walls have given the house a contemporary look that’s right up to date… what a transformation! I employed Rob to re-render two of the external walls of my house, and he carried out the work efficiently and in the most trying of weather circumstances. The workmanship is first class, and he ensured that the work was completed exactly as he stated on his quotation, using a specialist rendering imported from abroad. He also found time to skim a number of internal ceilings. I am pleased I employed him and will happily do so again should the need arise.

I contacted Rob to supply and fit a 100 mm external wall insulation render system to our large Art Deco detached property. He wasn’t the cheapest quote out of the 3 we received but right from the word go we knew he was out man. He turned up on time, listened to our requirements and within 24 hours we had a full written quotation. After a further visit to clarify a few points we instructed Rob and his team to go ahead and we are more than pleased with the results.
